はじめまして。
デイジーズキンダー代表の崔里奈と申します。私はインターナショナルスクールに幼稚園から高校まで通い、日本で６割過ごし、アメリカの東海岸を中心に４割過ごしました。その後、ニューヨークの大学に入学しました。帰国後、日本のさまざまな英語教育施設で経験を積み重ね、日本の英語教育の実態を目にしてきました。そこで感じたのは、インターナショナルスクール教育と英会話教育のギャップの大きさ。その中で『どのようにバイリンガルに子どもを育てれるのか。』が私の課題となりました。できるだけ多くの子どもたちに良い要素を取り入れ、身につく経験をしてほしいと思いました。
その一巻で、もっとも大事なことは語学を取得するだけではなく、グローバルな思考とポジティブなマインドセットを持つことだと思います。今の世の中では変化の速度が早まり、その中で強いコアを持ち、自己表現、応用力を身につけることはとても大事な事だと考えています。 さらに、自然と地球に対するサステイナブルな意識を増進し、互いに対する思いやりや、コミュニケーション能力、判断力、行動力をつけてほしいと思います。
最後に、私が小さい頃から一緒に過ごした多国籍な同級生は、大人になっても支え合い、助け合い、私にとって大きな財産です。デイジーズキンダーに通っているお子様にも当校で出会ったお友達とずっと仲良くして、そのような経験をしてほしいという思いがあります。
人生に一度しかない大事な幼少期を温かいコミュニティーの中で一緒に見守りましょう。
